BUSY SCHEDULE FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP VOLUNTEERS!

Last week the volunteer calendar was full!  On the program of activities: professional integration, sorting training and English!

Last training session with F.A.C.E.

Thanks to the partnership with the Foundation Agir Contre l’Exclusion, volunteers seeking employment had the opportunity to participate in 2 sessions. The latter enabled participants to understand the basics of job search: reading an ad, writing a CV, interview simulations,

Thursday and Friday are two new mornings during which jobseeking volunteers were able to benefit from individual interviews to perfect their Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter.

Outing to the Recycling and Sorting Center

Nice novelty for the 2018 World Championships: the use of duo-bac on the competition site thanks to a partnership with Fenua Ma. In order to better understand the issue of sorting and recycling, several volunteers from the “Cleaning” department took part in an outing to the CRT.

An outing led by Francis Arai, facilitator at Fenua Ma, which enabled the volunteers to understand the sorting chain and better identify “recyclable” rubbish.

Hi, I am a volunteer !

Last Saturday, the volunteers met for English Day. A day of cohesion that allowed the hundred volunteers present to have fun while learning the basics of English. More than 1500 English-speaking athletes and coaches will be brought together for more than a week.

Learn to introduce yourself or point the way, a first learning experience in a playful situation that the volunteers appreciated ” very much ” !
