NEIGHBOURHOODS AT CHAMPIONSHIPS

 The 18th IVF Va’a World Sprint-Championships represent a real opportunity to highlight the practice of va’a internationally. But it is also a unique opportunity to involve the local population.

The highlight of the solidarity component of the LOC is represented by the VA’A MATA’EINA’A CONTEST. While Va’a no te Ora was primarily intented for the districts of Pirae, the solidarity actions of the LOC are taking on a new dimension with this competition dedicated to the priority districts of the 13 municipalities of Tahiti and Moorea.

SIX CATEGORIES

Each municipality will responsible for the selection of its crews, who many compete in the following 6 categories:

  1. V6 Open Womens 500m
  2. V6 Open Mens 500m
  3. V6 Open Womens 1000m
  4. V6 Open Mens 1000m
  5. V12 Open Womens 500m
  6. V12 Open Mens  500m
